Role Description
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the Domain
• Network Administration experience with great exposure on below technologies.
• Ability to manage All type of incidents.
• Logical troubleshooting expertise – to isolate/ identify problems
• Excellent coordination skills with application/ server teams and should have ability to isolate network problem with non-network problem with logs etc.
• Good customer handling skill, ability to manage Incidents/ Changes related to network and Data Security domain.
• Good understanding of Incident and Change Management procedures.
• Excellent coordination skills with teams located in different geography/ country.
• Work as part of shift rota along with other GEO teams
• Planning, and execution of large and complex network security projects such as migrations and/or upgrades is an absolute requirement
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support and engineering design for voice, data and video networks at Access, Aggregation, and Core network locations
Technical Requirement
Technical troubleshooting/ designing/ Optimization experience on following (Minimum 4 – including 2 from mandatory)
• Experience with Juniper Routers - mandatory
• F5 Load Balancer, APM, ASM, I rule, IApp, LTM, GTM - mandatory
• Comprehensive hands-on experience on Fortinet firewalls - mandatory
• Cisco Switches & Routers (Cisco Nexus platform, Cisco 4500/6500 Series)
• Configuring, troubleshooting Riverbed Wan accelerators
• Cisco Wireless experience is a plus
• Willing to get upto speed on above technologies where individual do not have experience
• Knowledge on following technologies will be helpful
• Brocade MLX, Foundry switches deployment and troubleshooting
• Network concepts and protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VRRP, WCCP, F5, Fortinet, Juniper, Load Balancers & WAN Accelerators.
• Configuring and troubleshooting switching technologies like STP, VTP, Multicast and QOS.
• Configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols including static, dynamic (BGP, OSPF and EIGRP) and PBR.
• Understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP4, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.1ah, ADSL2+
• Working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, electrical, UPS, etc.
